Welcome to the art and science of great visitor experiences.

The Extension 720 Podcast from 720 WGN
FALLOUT CENTRAL is an online space designed to inform, spur dialogue and mobilize Asian Americans against the racism and prejudices facing us in the United States and beyond. Our goal is progressive social change through education, organized action and other non-violent means and methods.
Our site takes its name from the fallout shelters constructed across America as civil defense measures during The Cold War. Today, the growing economic and cultural influence of Asia has brought forth a new era of Yellow Peril in the West, necessitating the need for not only community defense, but also offense.
In the past decade, Asian hate crimes have risen (and continue to rise) exponentially, in tandem with racist portrayals and blatantly offensive –yet seemingly excusable— behavior in the media. Unfortunately, these incidents are also the most vastly underreported by mainstream news sources and are rarely scrutinized or even addressed by influential Asian Americans with the capacity to make a difference. These factors result in an-often limited response that is usually met largely with indifference and/or backhanded apologies. We believe these inexcusable circumstances have a crippling effect on our community; perpetuating fear, shame and misdirected anger.
FALLOUT CENTRAL seeks to invert these sentiments, inspire new perspectives, create a critical mass and expose and eradicate both ignorance and the offending parties

And issues in the middle get torn up in a hilarious frenzy of ideological mayhem. Love "Left, Right and Center" on NPR? Hate "Hannity and Colmes" on Fox News? Make love to the "McLaughlin Group?" Then Hawke and Dove are for you. Nothing is sacred - Democrats, Republicans, Progressives, Conservatives, all are skewered.
