Nerds FC is back! 14 brand new nerds come together to take on a whole bunch of new challenges and to hopefully become a team. The new series of Nerds FC airs on Saturday 9th June at 7:30pm on SBS. Along with the new TV series of Nerds FC is the new Podcast series titled ‘Nerd News’ -A tongue in cheek news style review and preview of Nerds FC, hosted by Amali Ward and Phillip ‘Mono’ Massaad. The AIC is a joint Palestinian-Israeli organization which prioritizes political advocacy, critical analysis and information sharing on the Palestinian and Israeli societies as well as on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In doing so, the AIC promotes responsible co-operation between Palestinians and Israelis based on the values of social and political justice, equality, solidarity, community involvement and respect for the full inalienable national rights of all Palestinian people.

Bill, is now back on the table in a big way.

NPR's Morning Edition has just done a terrific segment on the GI Bill and my book, Over Here: How the GI Bill Transformed the American Dream, featuring interviews with several of my main characters, George McGovern and film director Arthur Penn, along with yours truly. You can find the NPR audio here.

The report also examines proposals to restore the current GI Bill to its past glories, so that's today's veterans can have the same opportunities that awaited the Greatest Generation when they returned home. A follow-up NPR report on fixing the current GI Bill can be found here.
