Alexis Machine, a band that consists of Alexis himself and Alex Zandretta, recently released their second album, The Deeper Well of Decay. The album is comprised of hard-core rock elements and an eerie techno component that adds to the creepy feeling the music inspires within the listener. For the shock-rock fan, it completely hits the mark. Given the right opportunity, the album could very well become an industrial rock cult classic.

If you're into ambient, electronica, downtempo, idm, drifty, chill out, and post-rock kinds of music then subscribe to the MarkRushton.com podcast and you'll be listening along with thousands of others. About every month I'll release a podcast of original music, either new material or tracks from my massive archive. I also include live and improvisational recordings on occasion. Over the years I've been influenced by artists like Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Fennesz, Harold Budd, Cabaret Voltaire, Bill Nelson, Pat Metheny, and others, although I like countless other artists from most genres of music. If you have an appreciation for anything from synth pop to experimental noise, you'll probably like what I have to offer. You can find out more about me and my music at markrushton.com

Politics, religion, pop culture, and bizarre news - this is talk podcasting at its most honest. Scott Parent re-spins the headlines overlooked or underanalyzed by the mainstream press with his rants of the week and an endless no-holds-barred barrage of the world around you.

From his time at Juilliard to his grand success on Broadway, follow the path of Stephen Schwartz, the composer/lyricist of such legendary works as Godspell, Pippin, and his most recent Broadway hit, Wicked (which was at the Kennedy Center in 2005). Excerpted from the PerformancePlus event moderated by Michael Kerker, ASCAP Director of Musical Theater, this series invites you into the world of one of the American theater's most talented artists.
