New "Check" feature issue
jameswilliams90@gmail.com 6 months ago	Hi John, One thing I have just found is that when I attempt to 'check' for new episodes from the MyLounge area the feeds don't update. I have to go to the podcast page itself to get it to 'check' properly. Also I'm not sure whether this is intentional, but I have to push the check every time to ensure that the podcasts appear as updated on the site. Some podcasts were missing several episodes as a result of this. Just wondering whether this is intentional. Cheers, James PS. DarkAz 5 months ago	Hi James, let me explain how this is supposed to work and show you a sample (hopwfully that will clarify things) when you click on the "check" link it will be replaced by text saying "Just now" - at the same time if there are any new episodes then the updated column will change from something like "1 week ago" to "just now - 1 new" - the 1 new indicates how many new episodes were found keeping our records of podcasts up to date while keeping the site fast for users is always a challenge - if we check the feed everytime somebody views a page it slows things down. We do have a "bot" that is constantly working through the feeds and looking for updates, but with tens of thousands of podcasts it takes quite some time to get through them all.
