.:Tomphonic Live at SyncTank:.
Well it has been a little while since we have had a liveset to feature on the blog. This week's liveset comes from Tom Phone who has a very nice performance from SyncTank.
Quote:
I have been waiting since october to get this one. I did bring my minidisc to it, but the guy running the show said he'd record it. Cool dude for sure, he ended up mastering it for me and giving me the original and mastered version back, I was getting very anxious. Anyway, its a really chill set, I've got some of my opinions about length of songs, but over all I'm really excited about the set. I don't know what type of pary this would work at tho, so cool that it was at a bar of interested people. Sync Tank is the name of the night, if any of you are in NYC, you should check it out, its really fun, crowded, and good people to talk to all around.
Be sure to check out more of his music over at Tomphonic.com

.:Putsch Live at DBreach December 8th 2007:.
This week's liveset comes from an email I recieved from the artist Nick Ronin aka. Putsch. Not a lot of information on this set, but Putsch is an audio/visual duo focusing on breakbeats and dub.
Quote:
Putsch is a live multimedia electronic act combining the newest possibilities in live video mixing, scratching and fx with a highly visual, attention grabbing musical performance, all controlled by an eclectic variety of instruments and controllers on stage. With a musical style ranging from boneshaking breaks to shuddering dubstep, Putsch is a visual dance act like no other, a hypnotic synergy that will probably be banned as a threat to public apathy. It features audio producer Ronin, visual artist Influssi and the Mission Creep DJs as well as irregular guest performers.
Ronin and Putsch have a whole plethora of website that they are running so lets be sure to checkout them all out.

.:Alert-Live at Parallel 17:.
This week's liveset is another linked over from Denvertronic.com (Is Denver that big of a LivePA hotspot?) and it is a very nice change up from some of the past music we have seen on the site. This week's set is a nice down tempo breaks set from Alert. Alert is also the owner of Dope Recordings.
Be sure to check it out if you are looking for more music in this vein. Also, a big ups to Denvertronic.com for dishing up yet another great liveset.
