[Podcast] Remember when you used to play Scrabble for fun on a lazy afternoon with the family. Now you could be making an income just knowing words. A game I used to play, Magic the Gathering, has its own professional players making a living at playing a game I used to play for fun with the guys at the card shop. The Podsafe Music Network brings us two more bands that have a lot of promise. Anemo has a sound very much like Evanescence. Brother Love on the other hand reminds my brother of Robert Plant if he did a pop song.
Don't forget the media package for this week. I need to thank my brother for these two fake movie trailers. He found these and sent them to me. I just about died watching them.

[Podcast] With all the time I have off right now I have been keeping my eye on the latest in video games coming out for the holiday sesaon. Shadow of the Colossus looks to be one of the closet classics. EA Games is throwing their hat into the fighting genre this year with Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. I am a big fan of fighting games all the way back to Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. So I have been drooling to get my hands this one. Did I mention it is also a comic book were you see the Imperfects for the first time. This weeks media package has the opening for the demo of Shadow of the Colossus as well as a video I found from a Japanese game show. Neo ain't got nothing on these Ping Pong players.

[Podcast] New intro music, new segment, you would almost think I was getting good at this. This week we take a look at the 2 new big, little guys on the shelf. The Ipod Nano and the Game Boy Micro. Two wonders of miniaturization, yet power to rival the big boys. Plus music from the Podsafe Music Network. This weeks bands are Buddahead and Delphinium Blue. With all that has happened due to Hurricane Katrina, many have given time, money, and anything else that can help. This weeks media package has an mp3 file that has people telling how they feel about what our government has or has not done. It is a mix of Kanye West's Gold Digger, with some definite political overshadowing. There are also jpegs of the Ipod Nano and the Game Boy Micro.

[Podcast] The smell of fresh cut grass and astro turf burns brings back many memories for me. This week we take a look at my 2 favorites. The OSU Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Once again a big thanks to the Podsafe Music Network for 2 more great bands. Adrina Thorpe reminds me of Sarah Mclachlan or a Tori Amos and Echoes Deluxe makes me think of Radio Head. This weeks media package has the 2005 NFL season schedule as well as a video clip of the new Superman movie.
As mentioned in the podcast, any and all donations for the month of September will be donated to the Red Cross for the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. Give what you can. Every bit will help.
