When I first heard Louinel Jean's new song, "Power of Love", I immediately started planning this episode. It's a perfect theme for the end of a tumultuous decade as it sets the tone for what I'm sure we all hope will be a smoother 10 years aided by the power of love. All of the tunes are about love, and range in BPMs from walking paces to tempos for all out running.
Here's the music video version of Louinel's song, featuring Sushane Holmes:

As this is my third anniversary show, I reminisce by bringing back some old tunes as well as introduce some new ones. I found most of the tunes on Music Alley, and for that I'm grateful to Mevio and their fine service to music podcasting.

This mid-month dose of the JTIP falls at just the right time for some holiday music. So I was really excited to receive email from Ariel's Cyber PR about their Holiday Campaign List featuring 28 songs. I picked 8 that are great for JogTuning. It's a 30 minute session that's fairly easy going, with a max BPM of 174 and plenty of running in the 160s. Besides Ariel's List, I added another special treat as an outro. It's Troy Lee Warden's dance version of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

The first time I played New Age music for running was on episode #31 which was entitled Think Positive. It was so well received that I thought I'd dedicate another show to the genre. So here's all new age music sequenced for a 45 minute session and designed to put you in a meditative running mood while you work out to the beat.
All of the music comes either from Mevio's Music Alley or the IODA's Promonet. Also, returning to the JTIP is Momo-J's Far East Peach Label with one encore tune for the intro and one new tune.

Alexx Calise
On this episode, I feature the great music of Alexx Calise. You only have to go the Alexx's website, to learn that she's not only a rising star on the rock music scene, but a consummate user and proponent of new and social media. I first played Alexx's "Out of Sight" on episode #39 but then and there decided to feature her on a future show. So here are 4 tunes by Alexx that will definitely enhance your workouts and bring you pure listening pleasure as well.
Arcompanying Alexx on this episode are two great artists I found via Ariel's CyberPR Promotion Company.

Just for fun, I thought I'd look for tunes for this episode that have the words "run" or "running" in the title. I searched Mevio's Music Alley and found more than enough tracks for the show. One tune is actually called "Run to the Music." What could be more pertinent to my show?
The only non-Mevio tune is by Lady Southpaw. She emailed me about her passion for running and about her music, which is all about running, literally. She wrote and sings "Why I Run", which is the sprint tune for this episode and runs at 180 BPM.
You can find all the artists, their websites, and purchase options on this episode's show notes page.
